The viva for candidates who passed the 31st BCS written tests will begin on Feb 6, 2012.

In the first phase, 1,573 candidates who passed in the general cadre category will be interviewed until Feb 20, the Public Service Commission said in a media release.

The interviewees admit cards have been mailed and oral exams held on 10am Feb 6 at the commission's head office.

the release said, 'If any interviewee does not received their admit card three days before the date, they will be able to collect it from the commission's office by submitting two authenticated passport size photos'.

All candidates must bring certified photocopies of all their certificates at the time of interview.

The result of the written test of the 31st Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) was announced on Jan 12. 

A total of 141,465 candidates sat the preliminary test of the 31st BCS examination held on May 27 last year. 

A total of 6884 candidates passed the test. Of them, 3,066 came out successful in the general cadre, 2,805 in general and vocational, and 1,011 in professional cadres.
